Hackel, Eleanor Marie (9 NOV 1968)
Miss Eleanor Marie Hackel, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Hackel of
Colby, was united in marriage to Dale E. Chambers, son of Melvin Czapanasky of
Clyde, Kansas, Saturday, Nov. 9, 1968, at an 11 a.m. ceremony at St. Mary's
Catholic Church, with the Rev. John E. Olson officiating.
The bride was attired in a floor length gown of rose print lace styled with long
sleeves and a sculptured neckline. The gown was highlighted by an A-line skirt
accented by back fullness. Her veil was an elbow tip length mantilla or rose
print, and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses and stephanotis.
The bride's maid of honor was Doreen Hackel, sister of the bride, Milwaukee, and
the best man was Bill Czapanasky, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Kenneth Hackel of Colby and Ben Hackel of Falls Church, Va.
Festivities of the day included a dinner following the ceremony at St. Mary's
gymnasium and a reception at the Colby City Hall.
The couple will be residing in Houston, Texas. The bride a a graduate of
Milwaukee Accredited Beauty School, Eau Claire, and worked at Mr. Jepsen Hair
Studio, Denver, Colo., and the groom attended Kansas State University and Denver
University, and is a programmer analyst at TRW Systems, Houston, Texas.
