Woik, Pauline Laura (21 NOV 1892 – 19 NOV 1968)
Pauline Laura Woik, 75, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died early Tuesday afternoon,
Nov. 19, 1968, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Services will be held Friday, Nov. 22, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green
Grove at 2 p.m., and the Rev. Arthur Rasch will officiate. Burial will be made
in the Green Grove Cemetery. Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby is in charge of
arrangements.
Pauline Sommer was born in the town of Green Grove Nov. 21, 1892. She was
married November 21, 1912, to Robert Dietrich. The couple lived at Ladysmith and
Little Falls, Minn. for several years. They returned to Green Grove and farmed
in that area until her husband passed away on Nov. 23, 1921.
She married Paul Woik, Aug. 20, 1928, and they farmed until her death.
Mrs. Woik was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Ladies' Aid, and a
long time church organist.
Survivors, besides her husband, are four children, Mrs. Hans Hennlich of
Milwaukee, Mrs. Adolph Stacke of Curtiss, Mrs. Ted Miller of Curtiss, and Mrs.
Norwood Krueger of Franklin; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
