Krainz, Mary Ann (2 JUL 1947 – 23 AUG 2015)

Mary Ann Krainz, age 68, of Willard, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at home of natural causes. She is survived by her husband Robert J. Krainz and son Duane T. (Janelle) Krainz and granddaughters Emilia and Josephine of Hartford, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to Robert Sept. 21, 1968, at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton.

Mary Ann was born on July 2, 1947, in the town of Fremont to parents Raymond J. and Ruth M. (Bartz) Nickel. Mary Ann attended Kozy Corner Elementary and Granton High School. She graduated from Saint Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Marshfield and spent the majority of her career as an OB nurse. She was one of the first Lactation Consultants at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

She was an active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Mary Ann enjoyed sewing, gardening, aviation, hunting whitetail, fishing, and farming.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Donald and William Nickel.

A private service will be held at a later date.
