Niznik, Gary J. (5 DEC 1955 - 28 AUG 2015)

Gary J. Niznik, age 59, died Saturday, August 28, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 11, 2015 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin, with Father Mandau Raju Sleeva officiating. Cremainal Inurnment will take place at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Lublin. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 11, 2015 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Urnbearers are Pauline Williams & Dan Niznik.

Gary was born on December 5, 1955 in Medford, to Paul A. and Mary A. (Mis) Niznik.

He attended Owen-Withee Area Schools and was a 1972 graduate of Owen-Withee High School.

Gary worked for Wausau Homes in Wausau for a period of time. He then worked for Weathershield in Medford for a period of time. Gary worked for Pick-N-Save in Eau Claire for a number of years before ill health forced his retirement. He enjoyed cooking, swimming, snowmobiling, hunting and spending time with his family. Gary was a caring and loving person and loved to help others

He is survived by a daughter, Jesse Draeger of Kenosha, siblings Paul Jr., Robert (Roberta) Niznik all of Holcombe, Dan (Pam) Niznik of Medford, Ronald Niznik of Stetsonville, Jerry (Kye) Niznik of Colorado Springs, CO, Bonnie (Steve) Pawelko of Rhinelander, Marlene Niznik of Stetsonville, Pauline (Lee) Williams of Owen and Sherrie (Carl Knable) Niznik of Puyallup, WA.

Gary is predeceased by his parents, Paul A. and Mary A. (Mis) Niznik, and sisters-in-law, Nancy & Dawn Niznik.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to his family to be designated at a later date.
