The village board would like to have 10 to 14 names submitted to the village
clerk of persons who would be willing to work at the polls. This number will
provide for alternates to the board. They will be appointed for two year terms,
1969 to 1970. Because the president elect is a Republican, there must be four
Republicans and three Democrats on the board. If interested please send your
name and political party to the village clerk, Gladys Loughead, by Dec. 10, as
the names must be submitted to the county by Dec. 15. This also applies to
anyone previously working at the polls.
