Underwood, Donna C. (Wall) (15 JUN 1928 - 2 SEP 2015)

Donna C. Underwood, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Golden Living Center-Three Oaks Nursing Home in Marshfield where she had resided since February 14, 2015.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Phil Juza officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen I Cemetery in Medford.

Visitation is from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford.

She was born on June 15, 1928 in Medford, to Erving F. and Vera (Hinkel) Wall.

Donna attended Holy Rosary Catholic Grade School and was a 1946 graduate of Medford Area High School.

Donna married the love of her life, Don M. Underwood, on May 17, 1947, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1997.

She was a life-long resident of Medford who enjoyed playing Canasta with her ladies card group and spending time with her family and friends. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and was an active member of the Republican Party. Donna was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford.

Donna is survived by her children, Dennis (Carol L.) Underwood of Medford, Coralee (Richard) Needham of Minnetonka, MN and Kelly Underwood of Exton, PA, grandchild, David (Becky) Underwood of Butte des Morts, great grandchildren, Aubrey Underwood and an expected Great-Grandson.

She is also survived by siblings, Jean Latuso of Glen Head Long Island, NY and Irving “Floyd” Wall of Prior Lake, MN, special friend, John McMurry of Medford and loving caregiver, Jackie Rhyner of Phillips.

Donna is predeceased by her parents, Erving F. and Vera (Hinkel) Wall, a grandson, Mark Underwood and a brother, Jack Wall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Donna’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
