Anderson, Albin "Al" E. (20 APR 1923- 4 SEP 2015)

Albin "Al" E. Anderson, age 92, of Colby, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 AM until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Al was born April 20, 1923, the son of Albin and Helen (Tomisek) Anderson in Chicago, IL.

He was united in marriage to Violet L. Krueger on June 18, 1946 at First Congregational Church in Colby. Together they farmed in the Town of Colby for 69 years.

Al enjoyed the farm life, wood working, and building furniture.

Al is survived by his loving wife, Violet of Colby; a cousin, LaVerne Flink and her daughter, Carol Weinfurter both of Marshfield; and many caregivers.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
