Willard Zimmendorf has been dismissed from a Marshfield hospital.

Mrs. Arno Decker and Mrs. Wilbert Stewart visited last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Mary Blazer in Owen.

The Thursday afternoon Suffragett Club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Viv Carteron.

Miss Loretta Lindner is a surgical patient in Marshfield.

The Intersee Club was entertained Wednesday evening last week at the home of Mrs. Lawrence Cox.

Mrs. Leon Kuester and Mrs. Hugh Christie visited last Thursday at the hospital in Marshfield with Mr. Christie and with William Goeke, who is a surgical patient.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Flikke and family of Minneapolis spent the weekend with her father, Hugh Christie, who is in a Marshfield hospital.

Visitors Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kaudy were Mr. and Mrs. John Kaudy and daughter, Lisa, of Stetsonville and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Diedrich of Medford.

Mrs. harry Plunkett, Sr., was admitted last week Monday to Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

The Bible Study group met last Thursday morning at the home of Mrs. Eugene Antrim.

The Tuesday afternoon 500 club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Bertha Dallman.

Mrs. Hastings Baird left Saturday for San Diego, Ca., for a visit at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs. Richard Engle.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hefner and daughter Jennifer, of Stevens Point, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Steiger, Saturday they attended the Vollrath-Kocher wedding.

Miss Connie Wheetley and Miss Kathy Ellingson of Elmhurst, Il., spent from Friday until Monday with the latter’s grandmother, Mrs. Louise Ellingson.

Mrs. Erna Wehrman entertained the Canasta Club at a supper meeting Friday evening.

The Bridgettes Card Club will meet this Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Glen Drew.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ellingson, and son Tom, of La Crosse, spent the weekend with their parents, Mrs. Louise Ellingson and Mr. and Mrs. Red Hohl. Other visitors at the Ellingson home were her granddaughter, Miss Karol Ann Ellingson and her fiancé, Michael Silerzio, of Elmhurst, Il.

George Wilson of Milwaukee spent from Monday evening until Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kaudy. Monday, Mr. Wilson attended the funeral of his cousin, Gordon Lavine, at Neillsville.

Sunday guests of Mrs. James Metcalf were Mrs. Grace Metcalf of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Groenke and son, Wyman, of Minneapolis, and Miss Carol Metcalf of Sheboygan.

Mrs. Hazel Helwig and Leota Murphy have returned after spending seven weeks in Farmington, N.M., at the home of Mrs. Murphy’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lavon Johnston, and family.

Mrs. William Kuester and Harvey Goeke visited Tuesday with his father, William Goeke, who is a surgical patient in a Marshfield hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie and Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyre and daughter, Jane, visited Sunday at the home of Mr and Mrs. Harold Dunn in Eau Claire.

Mrs. Don Warner spent a few days recently with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Don Telford and family in Eau Claire, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Dick) Warner and family, in Chetek.
