The Friendship Club is to meet Tuesday evening, February 12, at the home of Mrs.
Otto Schmidtke.
Romadka Homemakers are to meet Wednesday afternoon February 13, at the home of
Mrs. William Lehmann.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero visited with lily Porath last Wednesday and with Mr. and
Mrs. LaVern Schier in Marshfield on Sunday.
The Granton Music Mothers will sponsor their last card party of the season Mon
day evening at the school cafeteria.
The U.M.W. Society of the Granton United Methodist Church is to meet today
(Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Lelah Farnsworth, weather
permitting. Mrs. Letha Ganther is to lead the Bible study.
The David Lavey’s were among guests at the Arnold Wesenberg home Sunday at an
observance of the Wesenbergs’ baby.
York Sew and So Homemakers are to meet February 14 at the home of Mrs. Otto
Schmidtke for a noon dinner.
Margo Ganther of Cambridge, Mn, returned home Thursday to attend funeral
services for her uncle, Ted Downer, and remained to spend the weekend with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ganther.
Granton Homemakers are to meet February 14 with Mrs. Louis Helm for a Valentine
party. Each member is to bring a homemade Valentine to exchange.
Mrs. Otto Schmidtke and Mrs. Norman Freedlund of Sherwood took their aunt, Mrs.
Pearle Holmes, to Wild Rose Wednesday where Mrs. Holmes was admitted in the
hospital.
