Granton (14 February 1974)

The Friendly Neighbors Club met Friday evening at the home of Esther and Norman Petersen of rural Spencer.

Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Farnsworth and family of Marshfield were guests Sunday of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Farnsworth, for a belated birthday party honoring Mrs. Darryl Farnsworth. The Erwin Farnsworths visited Saturday evening with Mrs. William Dankemyer at Chili.

Mr. and Mrs. Pete Montgomery of Phillips were Saturday visitors at the Allen Montgomery and Roland Quicker homes. Mr. Quicker spent Sunday in Neillsville with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Opelt.

Mrs. Letha Ganther led the Bible study at the Thursday afternoon meeting of the UMW society of the Granton United Methodist Church. The group met at the home of Mrs. Lelah Farnsworth, who served as hostess.
