Neillsville (14 February 1974)
Mrs. Mary Klune and Pete McCammant visited last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Al
Schiller of Pittsville and with Mr and Mrs. Michael Schiller. They also visited
with friends and relatives in Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. James Tank and family of Brillion and the Misses Helene and Petra
Kalsow of St. Paul, Mn, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Roland Kalsow.
Mrs. Fred Marg and Mrs. Lillian Marg spent Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Roger Helm
and family of rural Granton.
Mrs. Grace Giloy has returned home from an extended visit with her daughters and
their families in Racine and Franklin. Mrs. Sharon Rauch and three children of
Marshfield visited with Mrs. Giloy on Sunday.
Weekend visitors at the John Swenson home were their son and daughter-in-law and
grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Jon Swenson and Craig of Westfield.
Mrs. Carrie Redlin left last week for her home in Oshkosh after spending a week
with her sister, Mrs. Gordon Lavine. Visiting with Mrs. Lavine Saturday were Mr.
and Mrs. Val Berzins and daughter of Sparta. Mrs. Berzins is Mrs. Lavine’s
niece.
Mr. and Mrs. Francis Kipp and son, Richard of Milwaukee spent Sunday and Monday
at the home of her mother, Mrs. Marie Keller. Other Sunday dinner guests were
Mr. and Mrs. James Simenson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Ott and family.
Candlelight Homemakers are to meet Monday evening, February 18, at the home of
Mrs. Herbert Blum. Mrs. David Bertz will be the co-hostess.
Mr. and Mrs. Almon Vandeberg returned home February 3, from a ten-day tour of
the Hawaiian Islands. The Vandebergs accompanied a Minneapolis tour group.
Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kieser and sons attended the wedding of a friend, Tom
Lindgren, and Miss Kathleen Getten Saturday in Eau Claire.
Neillsville Kiwanians will entertain their wives Monday evening at a Valentine’s
party in the Kiwanis rooms.
