Washburn (14 February 1974)

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams and sons and mrs. Art Williams were dinner guests Sunday of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Vandeberg at their cottage at Hatfield in honor of the birthday of their son, Wayne.

Mrs. Albert Lincoln will entertain the Cannonville Ladies Aid February 20, with dinner served at noon.

Mrs. Harry Kissling, who underwent surgery in a Marshfield hospital last week, returned home Wednesday and is recuperating at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kissling.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ehlert, Mrs. Frank Herrman and mother, Mrs. Magnus Romfoe of Gilman, visited last week Sunday and were supper guests of Mrs. Harold Elmendorf.

Mr. and mrs. Merle Austin and son, David, drove to La Crosse Sunday, where they visited their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Piepenhagen.

Mrs. Jack Urban and mother, Mrs. Irving Stevens, were in Marshfield Monday. They called at the Leland Dopp home.

Mrs. Elmer Kapfer attended the Ladies Aid meeting of the United Methodist Church of Granton, at the Mrs. Erwin Farnsworth home, last Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lindekugel and son, Wayne, visited Tuesday evening at the Walter Trachte home.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Havlicek, Sr., visited Mrs. Art Odell Friday.

Mrs. Romaine (Chuck) Boyer and son and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kurth and family visited Sunday at the home of the ladies parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trachte.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Havlicek, Sr., were dinner guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Grim of Stratford.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Al Mashin of Neillsville enjoyed a fish fry at a restaurant Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Mashin left Saturday on a trip to Florida.

Jean and Norma Lincoln and Judy Kelmos, of Minneapolis, spent the weekend with Jan and Norma’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lincoln.

Mrs. Ted Kissling visited Mrs. Harry Kissling Thursday at the Ernest Kissling home. Mrs. Neil Meddaugh visited her Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Havlicek, Sr., were supper guests Tuesday of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Havlicek, in honor of their son, Donnie on his seventh birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Havlicek, Sr., visited Saturday, and were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short.
