Buchholz, Arlene F. (12 DEC 1917 - 11 SEP 2015)
Arlene F. Buchholz, 97, Loyal, passed away on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Wells
Nature View, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday,
Sept. 16, at the Loyal United Methodist Church. Rev. Patsy Roe officiated.
Burial followed in the Loyal Cemetery.
Arlene Frances Buchholz was born on Dec. 12, 1917, in Kendall, to Daniel L. and
Sarah E. (nee Bredlow) Buchholz. At an early age, she moved with her parents to
Wilton, living there for a short time before moving to Loyal. She attended
Dodgeville School and did domestic work for a while, before becoming a telephone
operator in Loyal. Arlene then worked at the former Dairy Belt Plant in Spencer,
now Land O' Lakes. She never married. Arlene was a member of the Loyal United
Methodist church. Her interests included music and she loved playing the piano.
She is survived by one sister, Vera Meinhardt, Marshfield; one nephew, Ron (Pat)
Meinhardt, Pleasant Prairie; and several cousins.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lorraine, in
infancy.
