Reilly, Joyce Ann (Marriage - 9 February 1974)

Miss Joyce Ann Reilly carried a cascade arrangement of white roses and carnations with baby’s breath as she became the bride of Dennis R. Syth Satruday, February 9, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood. Officiating at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony was the Rev. Leander Koopman. Afterwards the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception at St. Mary’s Hall.

Presented in marriage by her father, the former Miss Reilly appeared in an empire style gown of white linen fashioned with a lace bodice and Victorian sleeves. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reilly, Rt. 4 Janesville. Mr. and Mrs. Reynold Syth, Rt. 1 Greenwood, are the groom’s parents.

The couple’s attendants were Miss Diane Reilly of Rt. 4 Janesville, sister of the bride, and Alan Bushman. Miss Reilly’s gown of forest green velvet was complimented by a nosegay of blue and green tinted carnations and baby’s breath.

Ushering duties were shared by Kevin Syth, brother of the groom and Tom Short, cousin of the groom.

Mrs. Glenn Short, the groom’s aunt, was the organist.

A 1966 graduate of Edgerton High School, the bride is presently employed as a secretary at the University of Wisconsin Center-Marshfield campus. Her husband graduated from Greenwood High School in 1965 and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in January of 1970. He spent two and one-half years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kenya, Africa, and is now employed by a breeders’ cooperative.

The newlyweds are living at 313A Crocker Avenue, Greenwood.
