Vicki Mech, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Mech, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.),
was chosen as a finalist in the Alice In Dairyland Contest at the District
competition held Saturday night in Cumberland. Chosen, along with one other girl
from among 11 contestants, Vicki will represent District 7 at the statewide
contest to be held in La Crosse June 11, 12 and 13.
The District 7 contest at Cumberland was sponsored by the Cumberland Chamber of
Commerce, who held a breakfast for the girls and their parents, a luncheon at
noon, followed by the banquet in the evening, where the winners were named.
