Kraatz, Louisa (27 JUL 1876 – 21 MAY 1970)
Mrs. Louisa Kraatz, 93, of 252 E. Scott St., Fond du Lac, Wis., died Thursday at
the Lutheran Home for the Aged, where she resided for three years.
She was born July 27, 1876 in Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wis. and she was married to
John Christianson, who died, and later was marred to Charles H. Kraatz on March
2, 1922 at St. Paul. The couple resided at Owen (Clark Co.), Wis. for 2 years,
moving to Fond du Lac in 1924. Mrs. Kraatz was a member of First Presbyterian
Church. She leaves to mourn, two daughters, Miss Charlotte Kraatz of Washington,
D.C. and Mrs. Alberta Vianello of Portland, Oregon, and one sister, Mrs. Amelia
Geisler of Cornell, Wis.. She was preceded in death by her husband, on Nov. 18,
1936(?), by her parents, five brothers, Henry, Herman, Fred, August and
Ferdinand Decker, and one sister. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. at the
Canlish Chapel, with the Rev. Lloyd G. DeLong officiating. Burial was Saturday
afternoon in the Greenwood Cemetery.
