Dux, Debra Ann (Marriage - 16 February 1974)

Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Globe, was the setting Saturday, February, 16, for the wedding of Miss Debra Ann Dux, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux, Rt. 3 Neillsville, and William E. Grap. The groom is the son of Mrs. Minnie Grap, Bradley Rd., and Carl Grap, 4411 N. 100, Milwaukee.

Officiating at the 2 p.m. ceremony were the Rev. David Witte of East Troy and the Rev. Gerhardt Lambrecht of Marshfield. A reception followed in the church parlors.

White satin with a sheer overlay formed the bride’s princess-style, entrained gown highlighted by lace trim at the neckline, yoke, waistline and cuffs. A headpiece of white lace with pearls was worn with her mother’s bridal veil. She carried a heart-shaped bouquet of red carnations as she was presented in marriage by her father.

Princess-style gowns of red satin complimented by headpieces of red satin and netting were chosen by the maid of honor, Miss Sheryl Harder of Eau Claire, and by bridesmaids Valerie Vincent, Patsy Thoma, Jill Huettenrauch and Darcie Matt. White carnations formed their heart-shaped bouquets.

Joseph Loeser, Milwaukee, served as best man. Robert Matt, Milwaukee, and Daniel Dux, David Dux and Mark Hediger acted as groomsmen. Guests were seated by Frederick Grap, Jr., and Mike Thoma.

The ringbearer was Gary Thoma. Karen Ruzic was the flower girl.

“A Wedding Prayer” and “The Voice That Breathed O’er Eden” were sung at the wedding.

The bride was honored at a prenuptial shower given by Sheryl Harder and Mrs. Kurt Hediger.

A 1972 graduate of Neillsville High School, the new Mrs. Grap is employed as a nursing assistant at the Lutheran Home for the Aged, Wauwatosa. Her husband graduated from Custer High School and is employed by a New Berlin firm.

The couple will live at 4121 N. 50th Street, Milwaukee.
