Vaughan, Lieut. Donald (Wounded in Action – 7 Nov 1918)

Wounded when a fragment of bursting “wrizbang” struck him in the back, Lieut. Donald Vaughan, Green Bay officer, crawled five miles along a road and through open country under constant shell fire, it was learned in a letter received from France. Exhausted, he reached a point where an ambulance was discovered.
