Kapka, Irene M. (? – 1 Nov 1918)
The community was deeply shocked to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Charles
Kapka, which occurred on Nov. 1st at a hospital at Stockton, Cal. Mrs. Kapka had
been at Stockton for several months and word was received here but a few days
ago that her little daughter was very sick with influenza. Mr. Kapka was later
shocked to receive word that his wife was very low in a hospital and the next
day news came of her death. Charley left on Saturday, accompanied by Mrs. Erve
Lowe, a sister of Mrs. Kapka, for Stockton, but it is not thought that the
remains of the deceased will be brought here for burial, owing to the illness of
the little girl.
