Booth, George (Drowning Death– 25 OCT 1918)

Word has been received here of the drowning of George Booth, which occurred on Oct. 25th. He was a steward on the Canadian Pacific steamer, “Princess Sophia”, which was wrecked off the coast of Alaska and in which accident about 350 persons were drowned. Mr. Booth was the husband of a former Neillsville girl, Miss Nina Neff.
