Globe (7 Nov 1918)

Those who are knitting socks for the Red Cross are requested to have them ready and hand them to Mrs. Alb. Kalsow before Dec. 1st.

Miss Elsie Hemp and Elsa Mallig went Eau Claire Monday where they intend to do housework.

Ernest Scheel and family returned home to Turtle Lake Monday after a week’s visit here with the home folks. They were accompanied by Lebrecht Kalsow, who will visit there for a few days.

Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Pischer of Granton spent Sunday with G. Mallig and family.

Joe Decker has returned from Manitowoc after a visit with his parents.

Helen Grap was an overnight visitor with Fala Kalsow one day last week.

Bill Kuhl made a business trip to Marshfield one day last week.

Fred Kalsow has been quite sick. Dr. Frank has been attending him. Fred is much better now.
