Campbell, Althea (27 APR 1841 – 9 Nov 1918)
Mrs. William Campbell died at Waupaca on Saturday and the remains were brought
here on Monday, funeral services being conducted on Tuesday. Mrs. Campbell was
born Althea Weyman on April 27, 1841, in Ohio. She married Wm. Campbell on March
30, 1880, and one daughter, Mrs. John James of Waussaukee, was born to them. In
addition, Mrs. Campbell is survived by the following step-children: Ezra
Campbell of Neillsville, Clyde Campbell of Duluth, George Campbell of Bemidji,
Minn., Benton Campbell of California, Mrs. Fred Wesenberg of Shortville and Mrs.
Samuel Whitter of Seattle. Mrs. Campbell lived here for many years and at all
times demonstrated her entire worth as a wife, mother, friend, and neighbor. She
was a thoroughly good woman and leaves behind many very sincere friends to mourn
her demise.
