Pleasant Ridge (14 Nov 1918)
Miss Mary Slocomb has recovered from an attack of bronchitis.
Mrs. Herman Shealer is still quite sick with influenza.
Miss Lydia King has been quite sick the past week with influenza. Also Mrs.
Salisbury and the Charles Hall family.
Kurth School began Monday, but not many pupils attended.
Henry Garbusch sawed wood for Fred Vine Monday.
George Vine and family spent Sunday with Will Waterman and family.
Jim Short spent Sunday with the Alvin Eisentraut family.
Mrs. George Swann went to Crandon last Friday to see her sister, Mrs. Walter
Carter.
Mrs. Elmer Selves is keeping house for the Blackman boys.
Grandma Selves spent Sunday with her son, Edward Selves.
Mr. and Mrs. Lon Huckstead spent Sunday at the H.O. Huckstead home in
Neillsville.
Miss Beatrice Hall began her school Monday in the Garbusch district.
Lon Huckstead is doing some carpenter work for George Vine.
