East Lynn (14 Nov 1918)
Louis Grade had the misfortune to lose one of his fingers while engaged in
sawing wood with a circle saw.
A number of young people attended the shower on Alfred Anding and Gertrude
Lindow Wednesday evening at the Chas. Meisner home.
We wish to correct an error in one of the last week’s items. Will Langere died
in France of influenza instead of in a military camp in this country. The error
occurred owing to the writer being misinformed.
Phillip Steinbach and family spent Sunday at the Jim Quicker home.
Henry Jensen intends to build a large dairy barn with modern equipment the
coming summer, and is already hauling rock and lumber.
