Globe (21 Nov 1918)
Miss Marcella Neis returned to her home in Neillsville Monday after spending the
summer with Mr. and Mrs. Linus Prock.
Mr. and Mrs. Gus. Grap and family autoed to Augusta last Tuesday to visit Otto
Hemp and family.
Joe Deckert has resigned his position as cheese maker for the Clark County
Butter and Cheese Co. Mr. Casper of Tioga has accepted the job and started work
Nov. 15.
Wm. Schlinkert and family and John Pagenkopf and wife visited here at the Robt.
Schlinkert home Sunday.
Miss Dorothy Spranger is helping Mrs. Edwin Kluekman with the household duties
at present.
Erna Grap went to Neillsville last week to work in the drying factory.
Pete Susa was at Marshfield between trains Saturday.
Oliver Ormond of Madison is home for a visit at the home of his parents, Wm.
Ormond and wife.
The Globe Church dedicated its service flag last Sunday with appropriate
services. After the usual service Rev. Rarisius gave a fine patriotic talk and
unfurled the service flag containing13 stars.
