Levis (21 Nov 1918)
Mrs. J. Rausch returned from Rochester, Minn., Saturday, where she underwent an
operation.
Several of Mr. and Mrs. J. Kolar’s friends visited at their home Sunday
afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Holub spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Cesnek and family.
F. Hudec lost a horse last week after being sick for several weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Strunsee and Mr. and Mrs. Ebert autoed to Loyal Sunday.
Mrs. H. Meier and children and Mrs. Wm. Meier spent Sunday afternoon at the
Rausch home.
Mr. Trinkner, our new neighbor, is remodeling his house.
Mrs. Pokorny visited Mrs. Shramek Saturday afternoon.
Chas. Lueck and J. Strunsee are digging wells this week.
Chas. Gentleman is building a new chimney.
The farewell party at Palmer’s Friday night was well attended and all who were
present report a good time. The Palmer family left for Augusta Monday.
