Ed. Schafer is working for Will Worchel, as the latter is still unable to do his
fall work.
Henry Pischer is putting up new doors on his barn here.
Joe Bruss purchased wood of H. Pischer and began hauling it home Monday. Looks
like winter is coming.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garbisch entertained a company of relatives and friends
Sunday in a most delightful manner.
E.A. Schroeder has been grubbing out the shrubbery on his lawn and otherwise
improving the place.
Mrs. Eliza Kuier is at home after a visit in town Lynn.
Last Week
The following families have been ill with influenza: Milo Brown, Wm. King and
Will Worchel, but all are reported to be on the gain.
Mesdames M. Osgood and E. Thiede were working here the first of the week on the
war drive fund.
Donald and Harold Kier spent from Tuesday until Saturday in York, doing some
fall work there.
Henry Garbisch and sons sawed wood for F. Vine Monday.
