Mrs. Bert Dresden is ill with influenza.

F.P. Jorgenson visited in Marshfield Sunday.

L. Williamson is confined to his bed by influenza.

Joseph Mauer was a visitor at Marshfield Sunday.

Herman Wegner and son, Buster, are ill with influenza.

Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Marsh visited friends in Marshfield Saturday.

Mrs. J.C. Jones of Sparta is a guest of Mrs. A. Matheson.

Mrs. A.C. Pitcher left Monday for a visit with a sister in Oshkosh.

Jesse Leason went to Eau Claire Sunday to enter a hospital for treatment.

Mrs. F.P. Jorgenson and baby are in the hospital at Marshfield for treatment.

Mrs. George Zimmer returned Saturday from Bismarck, North Dakota, with her sister, Miss Clara Seif. Miss Seif has been very ill with influenza.

Miss Celia Marx is home from Eau Claire to assist in taking care of her sister, Miss Helene, who has been very sick with influenza. Miss Marx is reported on the gain.

Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Hefferman of Wilton, Wis., and Mrs. Clarissa Kelogg of Onalaska are spending Thanksgiving week with Mr. and Mrs. T. Edgar Henderson. Mr. and Mrs. Hefferman are the parents of Mrs. Henderson.

Wm. Hopp, George Albright, Fred Krueger and John Artz, farmers residing in the town of Marshfield, marketed their cabbage this week and together received a check of $1900. They sold it to the Neillsville Canning Company. Mr. Hopp raised three acres and received for his $350. Mr. Albright had seven acres and for his share received a check of $1050. Mr. Krueger from one acre got $75. In addition to the above named, several other farmers had cabbage in the same consignment. Mr. Hopp intends to plant ten acres another season. – Marshfield Herald
