Mr. and Mrs. E. Hagle are home from a week’s visit in Milwaukee.
Mrs. Ottow is recovering from an attack of the flu.
Irvin Stevens was home from Madison on a 36-hour furlough over Sunday. He is
taking a mechanical course and likes it very much.
The teacher, Miss Slocomb, is sick at this writing, so school is closed again.
Erna Schultz and little brother visited at the Stevens home Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Shreve and wife of Viroqua spent a few days visiting the Kegley family last
week. Mr. Shreve came to deer hunt with Mr. Kegley.
Ed. Short and wife spent Sunday afternoon at Kuhn’s.
Walter Bell got kicked by a horse Friday night and is quite lame as a result.
Wm. Skoda has gone to Chicago to work.
Walter Bell met Irwin Stevens at Merillan Saturday night with his car and took
him back to catch the midnight train Sunday night.
