Butler (21 February 1974)

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Reineke visited at the Bill Reineke home in Eau Claire Sunday.

Mrs. Curt Mayenschein and Mrs. John Bizjak called on Mrs. John Kile and Mrs. Wally Blum, at the Kile home Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Sutton of New Jersey spent several days at the Rev. Harold Palmer home last week. Wednesday night, Mr. Sutton was guest speaker at The Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood. Mr. Sutton is Rev. Palmer’s nephew.

Mr and Mrs. Pirl Burrington wee supper guests at the Ralph McIntyre home in Elk Mound Friday.

Cheryl Wessenberg spent the weekend with her father in Neillsville.

Mrs. Curt Mayenschein visited Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Kuehl at Morgan Plaza in Thorp Thursday.

Mr and Mrs. Wavrunek and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Haut of Neillsville visited Sunday at the Collins home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Reineke and son of Boyd, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Altmann, spent Saturday at the Arthur Reineke home.

Mrs. Pirl Burrington attended a prenuptial shower for Kathleen Grajkowski at the Frank Schmidt home Sunday.

The Rev. and Mrs. Harold Palmer called on Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Kuehl and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bobb Saturday.

Saturday, Mrs. Chester Daines, Mrs. John Kile, Mrs. Wally Blum, Mrs. Harold Palmer and Mrs. Pirl Burrington, called on Mrs. Georgia Collins to wish her a happy 82nd birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Conklin spent the weekend at the George Reed home in Hurley. They were accompanied by their grandson, Eddie John Irish.

Tom Morrison of Willard called at the Curt Mayenschein home Monday.

Joseph and Charles Bizjak of Greenwood visited at the John Bizjak home one day last week.

Mrs. John Kile and daughter, Mrs. Wally Blum, spent the weekend at the Bud Kile home in Owen.

Mt. and Mrs. Fred Burrington of Gilman spent Thursday night snowmobiling with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Morrison.

Brian Daines of Thorp had the misfortune to lose his apartment and all his belongings in a fire that destroyed The Sportsman’s Den and The Laundromat and two upstairs apartments in Thorp recently.
