Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Indgjer of Eau Claire visited Sunday at the home of his
sister, Mrs. Louise Ellingson.
Melvin Fegre and children of Janesville were Friday guests at the home of Mrs.
Edwin Hegenbarth.
Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Carteron were Mr. and Mrs.
George Florence of Pittsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart spent Monday at the home of Mr and Mrs. Arthur
Stewart in Withee.
Mrs. Helen Behrens and James McConnell accompanied by Eugene Christie of
Neillsville attended the funeral of their cousin, Clayton McConnell held at
Ellsworth, Tuesday.
The Wednesday afternoon Bridge club meeting which was scheduled to meet at the
home of Mrs. Lawrence Cox has been cancelled for this week.
The Senior Citizens will meet in the Clark Electric auditorium today (Thursday)
at 1 p.m. Hostesses will be Mrs. Adolph Jackson, Mrs. Clara Gray and Mrs.
Clarence Verhulst.
The American Lutheran church women will meet today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. in
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church instead of February 28 as previously scheduled.
Hostesses will be Mrs. Einar Jackson, Mrs. R. G. Jackson and Mrs. Dennis Jaenke.
The Ladies Aid of the Trinity Lutheran Church will meet at the home of Mrs.
George Zuehlke, Jr., at her home in Loyal today (Thursday).
The Young Adults Bible Study group of the Immanuel United Church of Christ met
Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Calvin Awe in Owen.
The Bridgettes Card Club will be entertained today (Thursday) at the home of
Mrs. Harland Haunschild.
Mr. and Mrs. David Friske and Kimberly, Bernard Friske and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert
Friske were entertained Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Wells in
Marshfield in celebration of the birthday of their son, Larry.
Mrs. George Poppe returned Sunday after spending a week in Fredericksburg, Va.,
at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ellery Poppe. She was
met in Chicago by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Wadzinski of
Ravenna, Neb. They also visited in Washington, D.C.
The Rev. Pacifico Camarin attended the Northwestern Wisconsin United Church of
Christ clergy meeting held in Merrill Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. George Zwaster of Menasha were recent guests at the Harlan Brux
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie and Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyre and daughter, Jane, were
Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Steuber in Mondovi.
Mrs. George Osterhaus of Plainfield spent from Thursday until Sunday at the
Arthur, Wilbur and Robert Stewart home.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thiede and Mrs. Margaret Lowe of Marshfield were Sunday
supper guests at the home of Mrs. Effie Swieso.
Robert Stewart of Stanley spent Friday night at the home of his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Stewart.
