Pleasant Ridge (28 February 1974)
Mr. and Mrs. George Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Cook, and Mr. and Mrs. Don
Erickson were guests Thursday evening at the Bill Cook home in observance of
their daughter Shelly’s fourth birthday.
Dale Short was in New York City on business from Wednesday through Friday of
last week.
Pleasant Ridge Homemakers plan to visit at the Bryan home this (Thursday)
afternoon and play bottle cap Bingo with residents there. Mrs Ruben Hantke
attended the extension homemaker leader training meeting Monday in Greenwood and
will be the March project leader.
Mrs. Betty Currin of Chicago, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Matousek, before leaving February 21 on a two-week vacation trip to the
Canary Islands.
Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Carney, Milwaukee, visited her mother, Mrs. Ella Kuehn, at
Memorial Home one day recently. Mrs. Carney is the former Mayme Kuehn.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schultz visited one evening last week at the George Erickson
home, and Ernest Kuechenmeister visited there Monday afternoon.
