Mr. and Mrs. Everett Humke and daughter, Shelley were weekend guests at the home
of her parents, Mr. and mrs. Wilbur Stewart. Additional guests were Mr. and Mrs.
Orv Matzke of Wausau.
Mr and mrs. Don Warner returned home Monday after a visit at Eau Claire with her
daughter, Mrs. Don Telford and family. Mrs. Helen Behrens returned with her
after spending several days in Eau Claire at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs.
William Yaeger.
The birthdays of Mrs. Kate Susa and Mrs. Edith Stafford were celebrated Monday
afternoon at a party held in the activity room of the Black River apartments.
The afternoon was spent in playing games, after which a potluck supper was
served.
Gerald Goeke returned to Pewaukee after spending the weekend with his father,
William Goeke at a Marshfield hospital and at the home of his brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Goeke.
Mrs. Douglas Luther of Merrill spent the weekend at the home of her mother, Mrs.
William Kuester and her brother, Leon Kuester and family.
Mrs. Katherine Dearth entertained the West Side Homemakers at her home Tuesday
afternoon. A discussion was held on needlepoint and other crafts.
Mr. and Mrs. Val Krainz and daughter, Ruth and Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger
attended the fishing contest sponsored Saturday at the vocational technical
school at Rice Lake, where Larry Krainz is a student.
Lawrence Cox was admitted Saturday to Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Stiefvater of Wauwatosa visited Tuesday with his mother,
Mrs. Alice Stiefvater and were overnight guests at the home of Mrs. Katherine
Lindner.
