Rosalie Ann Knudsen, 1509 S. Palmetto, Marshfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Warren L. Knudsen, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged wedding vows Saturday,
June 6, 1970, with Mrs. Robert L. Wiand, Thorp, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Edward
Wiand, Mansfield, Pa., at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Rev. David
Wenger officiated at the ceremony.
The bride was seen in a white Angle skin floor length gown with long puffy
sleeves and an empire waist with daisy motif. Shew ore a floor length veil with
bouffant blusher attached. She carried a colonial bouquet with white daisies,
yellow carnations and baby breath, with yellow satin streamers.
Her maid of honor was Miss Wanda Knudsen of Willard, and her bridesmaid was Miss
Janis Fleischman of Medford. They wore floor length gowns, yellow with pink,
blue and white embroidered flowers. The gowns were empire waist, with a mandarin
collar, puffy sleeves, a wide yellow sash. They carried white, pink and blue
daisies with yellow streamers.
The groom's best man was Ernst Lefever of Chicago, Ill., and his groomsman was
Douglas Knudsen of Willard.
The ushers were larry Knudsen, Willard, and Jerry Johnson of Freeport, Texas.
A reception and dinner followed the ceremony, which was held in the church
parlors.
Mrs. Wiand is a 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1969 graduate of
WSU – Eau Claire. She is presently employed at the Marshfield Public School
system.
The groom is a 1964 graduate of Mansfield High School, Mansfield, Pa., and is
now employed as a computer operator for Thorp Finance.
After returning from a honeymoon on the East Coast, they will reside at 1509 S.
Palmetto in Marshfield, Wis.
