August 16 at a dual parish worship service held at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, Vicar Donald Bruce was installed.

The Rev. Dr. Gary G. Paul and Rev. David M. De Pauli presided over the morning worship service. A pot blessed meal followed in the fellowship hall.

Vicar Don will serve the congregations of Christ Lutheran church, Abbotsford, and St. Paul (Green Grove) Church, rural Colby.

The vicar completed his theological training at Concordia Theological Seminary at Fort Wayne, Indiana. Vicar Don and his wife Laura come from Shell Lake. He has been a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod and Faith Lutheran Church, Spooner. They have four adult children and are pleased to be back in Wisconsin.

His office hours at Christ Lutheran Church will be Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon. The worship service times at Christ Lutheran will be Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. and Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and at St. Paul, Green Grove, Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.
