Rosemary Loos, 540 Wellington, Chicago, Ill., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Loos, Route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and S/Sgt. William R. Kidwell, USMC, son
of Mr. and Mrs. William Kidwell, 209 Pinewood, Godfrey, Ill., exchanged wedding
vows Saturday, June 20, 1970, at the St. Anthony's Church in Loyal. Performing
the ceremony was Father Norbert King.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore an off-white organza gown with an empire waistline and a short
train. Her flowers were a nosegay of pink daisies and lilies of the valley.
The maid of honor was Miss Sandra Loos of Glencoe, Ill. She wore a pink floor
length gown with long sheer sleeves. She held a basket of pink and white
daisies.
The best man was Jim Kidwell, Godfrey, Ill.
Ushers were Charles Loos and Steven Loos.
After the ceremony, dinner was served by the Star Lodge Motel and a reception
followed from 2 – 4 at the bride's parent's home.
The bride is a 1965 graduate of Loyal High School and a 1967 graduate of
Creitman School of Practical Nursing. She is presently employed at the St.
Joseph's Hospital in Chicago.
The groom is a 1964 graduate of Alton High School and is a S/Sgt. In USMC.
They will make their home at Memphis Naval Air Station, Memphis, Tenn.
