Kuester, Clarice (20 JUN 1970)
Approaching the altar on the arm of her father, Miss Clarice Kuester, Milwaukee,

Saturday, June 20, 1970 at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood, with
Rev. David Logue officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kuester, Rt. 3, Thorp (Clark
Co., Wis.). The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bernard E. Novobielski of
Greenwood (Clark Co.).
Miss Candice Horn was soloist for the ceremony, and Mrs. Leona Alberts was the
organist. For her wedding the bride selected an old Spanish style gown of
Chantilly lace with a layered skirt and bell sleeves, and a mantilla headdress
highlighted with sequins. Her bouquet was of mixed roses.
Her matron of honor was Mrs. Patricia Rolland, Milwaukee. Serving as bridesmaids
and matrons were Miss Barbara Liebzeit, Greenwood; Mrs. Sandra Cook, Colby; and
Miss Mary Kalthoff, Milwaukee. They were attired in identical gowns of bridal
blue dotted Swiss with empire waists, with necklines, sleeves, and train
outlined in white daisies. Each wore a short veil secured with a horn of
daisies.
Little Sherrie La Bonte, Milwaukee, wore an identical gown of white dotted Swiss
and carried a mini-basket of daisies, was the flower girl. Duane Rolland, also
of Milwaukee, was ring bearer.
Attending the groom were Gordon Rolland and Bernie Novobielski, both of
Milwaukee, and David Novobielski of Greenwood. Bruce Miller, Greenwood, was the
groom's best man. Ushering the guests were Ricky Kuester, Thorp, and Conrad
Barth, Clarendon, Ill.
Following the ceremony, dinner was served in the church parlors, and a reception
was held at the home of the bride's parents. An evening dance was held at the
Thorp Legion Hall.
The new Mrs. Novobielski is a 1968 graduate of the Thorp High School. Her
husband is a 1967 graduate of the Greenwood High School. He is in his junior
year at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Both are employed at Allen-Bradley.
After a honeymoon at an undisclosed location in northern Wisconsin, they will be
living at 3361 E. 48th St., Milwaukee.
