Miss Beverly Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nelson, Rt. 2, Loyal (Clark
Co., Wis.), exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, June 20, 1970, with Joseph
Zupanc Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zupanc, Rt. 1, Loyal. Officiating at the
ceremony was Rev. Norbert E. King.
The 1 p.m. marriage took place in St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Loyal and the
bride was escorted to the altar by her father.
Mike Tucker was the organist and the church choir sang.
A colonial bouquet of blue carnations and pale pink roses complemented the
bride's gown of floral designed nylon acetate in floor length, and a matching
headpiece held her bridal veil.
Blue and white carnation colonial bouquets were carried by the bridal aides, who
were Miss Linda Stillman of Granton, maid of honor. Mrs. Ronald Nelson,
Saukville, and Miss Luanne Hardrath of Marshfield were the bridesmaids.
The flower girl was Lisa Nelson and ring vearer was Ricky Nelson.
The best man was David Nelson of Loyal and the groomsmen were Ronald Nelson,
Saukville, and Timothy Zupanc of Loyal. Ushering were Erlin Roehl and Scot
Zupanc.
A reception was held at K Corners and supper was served in the church hall.
Dancing that evening as at the Silver Dome near Neillsville.
The bride is a 1968 graduate of Loyal High School and has been employed by Falk
Corp.
Her husband graduated in 1967 from Loyal High School.
They are now on a wedding trip through western states and later will reside in
Milwaukee at 1657 N. Astor.
