Cathy Lee Goodbrand, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David
Goodbrand, Greenwood (Clark Co.), exchanged wedding vows June 27, 1970 at 8:00
p.m. at a candlelight services with Locha(?) Paulson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orell
Paulson of Loyal.
Officiating at the ceremony was Pastor Conrad Mickelson, minister of the United
Methodist Church of Loyal.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She was seen in a white chiffon over taffeta, empire floor length gown with
trailing train, short puffy sleeves and daisy and ferns. Her veil was shoulder
length with a pearl beaded headpiece. She held a cascade bouquet of pink roses
and miniature white carnations and stephanotis and fern.
The matron of honor was Mrs. James (Randy) Loos, Loyal, and the bridesmaids were
Mrs. Gerald (Betty) Kloen, Marshfield, and Miss Shirley Goodbrand of Greenwood.
Their gowns were floor length, empire style with short puffy sleeves, with daisy
applique in mint green with matching headpieces. They held nosegays of white and
yellow daisies with fern.
The best man was Marvin Miller, and the groomsmen were Robert Loos and James
Loos, all of Loyal.
Ushers were Richard Paulson, Loyal, and Robert Goodbrand, Greenwood.
Organist was Mrs. Ray Feldt.
A wedding reception was held at K Corners of Loyal and muscie was furnished by
Chloo.
Their wedding trip is taking them through the Ozark Mountains, after which they
will reside at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., where the groom will be stationed.
The bride is a 1968 graduate of Loyal High School and the groom is a 1966
graduate of Loyal High School.
