Chili (14 March 1974)

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Beil and daughter of Mesa, Az., are visiting in the area, called here by the illness of his mother, Mrs. Minnie Beil, who is hospitalized in Marshfield.

The Ladies Aid Society of Christ Lutheran Church is to meet Friday at 2 p.m. at the church with Mrs. Norman Faber as hostess.

Fremont homemakers are to meet this (Thursday) afternoon at the home of Mrs. Lyle Doehr.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jennings were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Knoll of Granton and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jennings and sons.

Mrs. Wayne Booth and Mrs. Edward Mueller accompanied their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Cattanach, to Minneapolis, Mn, on Friday.

The birthdays of Mrs. Frieda Johnson and Mrs. Victor Seehafer were observed Saturday evening with a gathering at the Seehafer home. Guests included: Mrs. and Mrs. Lawrence Schumacher and family of Granton, Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Seehafer and family of Marshfield, Leo Sternitzky, Gerald Sternitzky, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sternitzky, Vernon Sternitzky and daughters, Laverne Lichte and Chrissy, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Rollins and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rod Ure and Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Ure and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Montag drove to Fremont Saturday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Dan Metko and family. Mrs. Edna Spuhler of Marshfield accompanied them to Fremont and also visited an aunt in Weyauwega. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Doehr and Daryl and Mrs. Mabel Doehr of Marshfield visited with the Metko’s.

Goldenrod Homemakers are to meet this (Thursday) afternoon with Mrs. Wayne Booth. Mrs. Roy Jennings will be the project leader.
