Exchanging vows in an 8 p.m. candlelight ceremony on July 11, 1970 at the
Richfield Methodist Church, Edina, Minn., were Miss Geraldine Ione Gray,
Bloomington, Minn., daughter of Mrs. Alfred Gray and the late Alfred Gray, Loyal
(Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. Duane Gendreau, son of Mrs. Dorothy Gendreau and the
late David Gendreau, Edina, Minn.
The bride, attired in a simple white gown with an over cage of white nylon lace,
was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. Kenneth Gray, West Allis. Her matron
of honor, her sister, Mrs. Lavern Johnson, Wis. Rapids, and her bridesmaids,
Mrs. Harlan Trefz, Chicago, and Miss Sue Menz, Bloomington, Minn., were
similarly attired in gowns of yellow.
A brother of the groom, Dan Gendreau, served as best man, and the groomsmen were
John Cookos and Richard Karner. Ushering duties were carried on by David Nystrom
and Glenn Gulstrand Jr., all of Edina.
The bride, a 1958 graduate of Loyal High and a graduate of Eau Claire State
University. She plans to continue her teaching career in West St. Paul. Her
husband is a 1957 graduate of Edina High School. He is employed by the McGarvey
Coffee Company.
Following their honeymoon at Mackinac, they have taken up residence at 5400 W.
70th St., Edina, Minn.
