Eder, Joseph F. (? – NOV 1967)
A former area resident, Joseph F. Eder, died at his home in Montclair, N.J.
Mr. Eder lived in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.), west of Colby, and
as a young man began work with bridge construction crews. He became a leader in
steel construction work in this country, first as a riveter and ironworker, and
then as head of his own firm.
He worked on projects involving construction of some 50 bridges, 13 ships, and
several hundred buildings and steel towers.
He is survived by his wife, the former Maude Barrett.
