The Pine Valley homemakers club was to meet Wednesday at Horswill’s’ Café with
Mrs. George May as hostess. Mrs. Bernard Dodte was to lead the project on land
use and zoning.
Thad Zajac, associate guardian of Bethel no. 40 of Job’s Daughters, and Mrs.
Zajac, guardian treasurer, visited at Bethel No. 70, Black River Falls last
Tuesday evening March 12 for inspection. Their daughter, Mrs. David Boock, is
the guardian of Bethel No. 70.
Mrs. William Neuhaus and Miss Elaine Wachholz of St. Paul, Mn, visited over the
weekend with their mother, Mrs. Leonard Wachholz, and with their sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Simek. They also called on Mr. and Mrs.
Armond Wachholz.
Mr. and Mrs. John Christie of Anoka, Mn, spent Saturday evening with his brother
and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Christie. The John Christies were
visiting her mother, Mrs. Mary Counsell.
The Milford Tesmer children have been staying with their maternal grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aspen, and with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tesmer,
while their parents vacationed in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Tesmer were expected to
return home Wednesday.
The annual Neillsville Camp Fire Girls Father-Daughter breakfast was held Sunday
morning at the United Church of Christ.
Weekend visitors at the Cliff Gross home were Mr. and Mrs. Craig Blum and family
of Bloomington, Mn, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gross and son, Michael, of Eau Claire,
and Karen Gross of La Crosse.
Mrs. Frank Zimmerman of Ripon was expected to arrive Tuesday evening to spend
several days’ vacation with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick
Kieser and family.
