Beier, Roger C. (9 August 1925 - 30 September 2015)

Roger C. Beier, 90, of Beloit, WI, passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, in his home. He was born August 9, 1925, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Joseph and Emma (Matthes) Beier. He was a U. S. Army Infantry Sergeant during WWII, having been drafted out of high school to proudly serve his country. Roger married Geraldine “Gerry” Burzinski on September 26, 1959. At the time of Gerry’s death in 2003, they had been married 44 years.

Roger was employed in the Beloit area until he became a salesman in the Rockford area for 34 years, retiring in 1991. He sold industrial tools and machinery for Machinist Tool Co., Hill Tool & Supply, and worked 18 years at Factory Supplies Co.

He is survived by one daughter, Crystal of Beloit, WI; sister, Lillian Brown of Beloit, WI; brother, Donald (Jean) of Stone lake, WI; sisters-in-law: Germaine DeMarchi of Fort Myers, FL, and Gail (Clarence) Schmidt of Thorp, WI; nieces and nephews.

Roger was predeceased by his parents and four siblings.

No services will be held. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston R. Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

Roger touched many lives with his kindness and loving nature. He will be missed greatly by all whose lives he touched.
