Mrs. Mary Klune is spending this week in Madison where she is visiting with Pete McCammant who is a patient in University Hospital there. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Tipton of Jefferson visited her sister-in-law, Mrs. Klune and Mr. McCammant last weekend.

David Pischer of Madison spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pischer.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bohnsack were Friday evening visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bell and family, where Miss Petra Kalsow of St. Paul, Mn, was a weekend guest. Saturday afternoon, the Bell family and Miss Kalsow visited Mrs. Mabel Bell and helped her celebrate her birthday. Later that afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Smith and family of Waukegan, Il., arrived to spend the weekend with Mrs. Bell. The Smiths returned home Monday.

Diamond Rebekah Lodge No. 64 was too met Wednesday afternoon for the first time following the winter vacation.

Dinner guests of Mrs. Elsie Stelloh Sunday in observance of her birthday were Mr. and Mrs. Thad Zajac, Mrs.
Dan Gluch, Mr. and Mrs. Art Wegner and Mrs. Doris Struble. Mrs. Stelloh’s grandson and his wife, Mr and Mrs. Dennis T. Zajac, of Winter, called on her Sunday afternoon, and on Monday her granddaughter, Mrs. David Boock and children of Black river Falls, visited with her.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence McKevitt, Sr., have sold their home on Grand Ave. to Mr. and Mrs. William Neville, Jr., and have purchased a mobile home at the Grand View trailer court. They plan to move in about a month. Presently, Mr. McKevitt is confined to Memorial Hospital where he was admitted last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Royce Larsen entertained Sunday in honor of the 80th birthday of her mother, Mrs. Mabel Severson of Ogdensburg. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Waldum, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Raether, Mr. and Mrs. Hermod Olson and daughter, Becky, Mrs. Orpha Folkers and son, Jim, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gilbertson, Mrs. Ruth Gilbertson, Mrs. Ida Gilbertson, Mrs. Irene Englebretson, Mrs. Vilas Welda, Mrs. Irwin Johnson and Miss Amanda Peterson of Black River Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Olson of Monroe, Mrs. Gordon Bahnub of Ettrick, Mrs. Clifford Ritland of Whitehall, and Miss Ruth Garbisch of Manawa.

Sunday afternoon supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bell and family were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Smith and family of Waukegan, Il., Mrs. Mabel Bell, Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffmann and Gerhardt Scheel. The gathering marked the observance of Linda Bell’s 13th birthday, which was on Tuesday.
