Salter, Mr./Mrs. Stewart M. (Silver – 22 DEC 1967)

Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Salter of Unity celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at their home on Saturday, Dec. 23, 1967.

They are the parents of five children, who were all present for the occasion. They are Mr. and Mrs. John (Pat) Bruecker, Nichols, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Salter, Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Terry (Nancy) Morrow, Colby, Jerry Salter, Nichols, and Ray, at home. They have one granddaughter, Lynette Bruecker.

Out of town guests were dr. and Mrs. Clarence Zenner, Cadott, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Salter and Mrs. Ruby Salter, Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Carlson of Moorhead, Minn., Dave Carlson, Appleton, and friends from Unity, Colby and Spencer.

Cpl. Stewart Salter, Unity, and Jane Ellis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ellis, Lincoln, Neb., were united in marriage at Rockport, Mo. On Dec. 22, 1942.

After a trip to Unity, they lived in Lincoln, and then Denver, Colo.

After his discharge from the Army Air Corps, they lived at West Bend. Since 1947 they have farmed in the town of Brighton (Marathon Co., Wis.).
