Weber, Mary Elizabeth (29 APR 1893 – 23 DEC 1967)
Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Weber, 74, Abbotsford, who died Saturday, Dec.
23, 1967, at Taylor County Memorial Hospital, Medford, were held Tuesday
afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford.
Mrs. Weber was ill for the past several weeks.
The Rev. F.H. Sprengler conducted the services, after which interment was made
in the Abbotsford Cemetery. The pallbearers were George Calmes, Robert Knight,
William Steinke, Fred Meske, Richard Stibbe and Otto Stiebe.
Mrs. Weber, the former Mary Elizabeth Clayton, was born April 29, 1893 in
Minnesota. Shew as educated in Minnesota. Her marriage to Fred Weber took place
Feb. 4, 1914 at Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada. The couple farmed there the
early eyars of their marriage and came to Abbotsford in 1931. Mr. Weber was the
proprietor of Weber's Radiator Shop. He died Sept. 6, 1961.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen, and a son, Harold both at home.
One brother, Matt Clayton, of Mitchell, Ia., also survives. A sister is
deceased.
