Married Saturday, Dec. 23, 1967 at 4 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church,
Milwaukee, were Miss Ruby Baehr, Milwaukee, and Larry Hafeman of Menomonee
Falls.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Baehr, route 1, Abbotsford, and
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hafeman of Menomonee Falls.
The Rev. Glenn W. Nycklemoe officiated, with Mrs. Elfrieda Winninger as organist
and Fred Frey, soloist.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line floor length gown of
white velvet,w ith train, both accented with embroidered appliques. Her tulle
veil was attached to a three tiered velvet bow. She carried a cascade of
Stephanotis, white carnations, glittered gold centered white roses, and
variegated holly.
Miss Joan Hafeman, sister of the groom, of Menomonee Falls, was maid of honor,
and the bridesmaids were Miss Sue Baehr, sister of the bride, Madison, and Miss
Debra Davis, friend of the bride, Milwaukee.
They wore long sleeved floor length empire gowns of red velvet with set-in back
panels of satin. Their headpieces were velvet bows with veils, and they carried
crescent bouquets of white and variegated red, and white carnations with
glittered holly.
Lt. Dennis Baehr, brother of the bride, of Oklahoma City, Okla., was best man.
Groomsmen were Robert Wolter, cousin of the groom, and Walter Nell, friend of
the groom, both of Milwaukee. Ushering duties were performed by Richard
Niemeyer, cousin of the bride, Chicago, and Francis Fleck, cousin of the groom,
Milwaukee.
Miss Donna Kruger of Milwaukee, cousin of the groom, was flower girl, and wore a
white velvet dress with matching headpiece. She carried a crescent bouquet of
red carnations and glittered holly.
Glenn Peter, cousin of the bride, Northlake, Ill., was the ring bearer.
About 150 guests attended a buffet reception and dance, which were held at Brook
Park Lanes, Brookfield.
The bride, a June 1964 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, is a
teacher in the Milwaukee Public School System. Mr. Hafeman, a graduate of
Menomonee Falls High School and Milwaukee Institute of Technology, is employed
by the Pabst Brewing Company.
Following a honeymoon, the couple will reside at 5961 N. 63rd St., Milwaukee.
