Flink, Gladys (11 JUN 1908 – 5 JAN 1968)
Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Lorraine (Gladys) Flink, Waterford,
at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity.
The Rev. Robert Sutherland officiated at the services at 2 p.m., and interment
was made in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Unity.
Mrs. Flink died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 5, 1968 at her home, of a cerebral
hemorrhage.
The Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Flink, the former Gladys Safemaster, was born at Unity June 11, 1908. She
received her education in schools at Unity, and she was married at Trinity
Lutheran Church Oct. 25, 1929, to Lorraine Flink, who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Leroy Flink, Waterford, and three
daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Darlene) Wille, Port Washington, Mrs. Ronald (Donna)
Baldwin, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Elvin (Ramona) Hegeman, Waterford. There are 17
grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Lester Safemaster of Unity and
Roland Safemaster of Waterford, and two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Flatt,
Chicago, and Mrs. Beatrice Koch, Westboro.
