Sunday, Aug. 9, 1970 marked a double milestone at St. Anthony Catholic Church in
Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). It marked the 20th Anniversary that Rev. N.E. King has
served as Pastor of the congregation.
Sunday also marked the baptizing of the 999th, 1,000th and 1,001st adult and
infants by Father King.
In addition to the baptisms, Father King married 230 couples and conducted 193
funerals.
In appreciation for the spiritual guidance given the congregation. A cash gift
was given to Father King.
